Geheime & Momente – ASHTON NYTE

Ashton Nyte is op die punt om sy eerste Afrikaanse album vrytestel. Na aanleiding van ’n produktiewe en stilisties uiteenlopende loopbaan wat 8 albums ingesluit het met The Awakening en 5 krities bekroonde solo albums, is hy nou gereed vir ‘n nuwe artistiese hoofstuk. Sedert 1997 is Ashton te sien in byna elke musiek-verwante publikasie, televisie program en radio in Suid Afrika. Hy was by musiek-feeste beide in Suid Afrika en die VSA die hooftrekker; treffers op kampus en nationale radio geniet; teater produksies geskryf en opgevoer en selfs tyd gevind vir filantropiese gebeure soos sy “Rock Against Rape” konserte.

Die afgelope drie jaar is Ashton in die VSA, waar hy met sy mees onlangse album, “The Valley” van New York tot New Orleans getoer het en die album op meer as 40 radio stasies gespeel is. Hoogtepunte sluit in sy verskyning op die gesogte Public Radio International’s “The World” en ‘n onderhoud en uitvoering van snitte in die “Voice Of America” ateljee aan 125 miljoen luisteraars wereld wyd.

“Geheime en Momente” is die eerste snit van Ashton Nyte se komende album, “Moederland”, waarna Ashton verwys as “’n album wat hulde bring aan my Afrikaanse erfenis en die land wat my gevorm het”.
