Looking at You! Cape Town’s own – Rique Nelson

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Rique Nelson has earned a reputation for being one of the hardest working, most energetic and entertaining live acts in Cape Town. He started singing at the age of 13. After graduating at CMI (Cape Music Institute, Cape Town) in 2008, Rique started his professional career in 2009 where he performed with various bands until the end of 2010. In February 2011 Rique formed a band with his campus friends and they go by the name of INK. Rique is currently the vocalist of the group viz.: The 4Mula, that released their debut album.

He joined up with producer, Elton Lodewyk aka Elly Jay and the writer, Roberto Arries to release the debut single viz.: LOOKING AT YOU, which proves to be worth an international hit.
