Biography (Freshlyground):
One of the most acclaimed and successful bands to emerge from South Africa in recent years, Freshlyground blends the infectious kwela style and musical traditions from Zimbabwe and Mozambique with elements of pop, jazz, blues and indie rock. Formed in Cape Town the band became a national hit with the release of their 2003 debut, Jika Jika, and a year later they found themselves performing for South African President Mbeki and sharing the stage with the legendary Miriam Makeba at the North Sea Jazz Festival. Over the ensuing years, Freshlyground toured the world and recorded six increasingly popular albums, culminating in a collaboration with pop superstar Shakira that was chosen as the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. They performed the song during the closing ceremony in a televised event that was broadcast to over a billion people. On a visit to South Africa in June 2013 during a speech at the University of Cape Town, President Barack Obama cited Freshlyground as an example of the contributions South Africa has made to the world.
Biography (Ziyon):
Ziyon (real name Jonathan Hamilton) is an American-born South African DJ, vocalist and producer best known as one of the members of the Soul/House duo Liquideep, who formed in 2007.
As Liquideep, Ziyon has had eight number one singles, four number one albums and four MTV Africa Music Awards.

BLOOD ORANGE
You’ve made
Whatever you want of me
Make me a hobby or anything else that you use to get bored
You’ve made
A sour connection,
Reflection of everything false you unswore
Sweet like a blood orange
Light like a white lie
Life’s just a leap of faith
Keep on hoping I’ll crawl
Ever had your heart broken?
Ever been in love?
Ever has a friend who’s loyal like a dove?
Ever had to swallow pride?
Fake the good blood?
Rain check slowly turns into a flood
Everybody hopes that I’m slipping
But I’m light on my toes
Sweet like a blood orange
Light like a white lie
Life’s just a leap of faith
Keep on hoping I’ll crawl
[interlude]
Sweet like a blood orange
Light like a white lie
Life’s just a leap of faith
Keep on hoping I’ll crawl
Sweet like a blood orange
Light like a white lie
Life’s just a leap of faith
Keep on hoping I’ll crawl

LYRICS:
That Look
Recorded, written and produced by Jono Smithers
Verse 1
Don’t give me that look
I think we started off on the wrong foot
You gotta give me just a little time
I think you’ll find that I’m a little kind
Hearted man underneath my shell
You might not think it but I do mean well
We could be something only time can tell
We could be nothing but another oh well
Verse 2
Don’t give me that look
I think we started off on the wrong foot
I’ll take you dancing in the summer rain
The winters coming but my love for you remains
Take a drive to our favorite spot
You’re looking sexy in my favorite top
If this is love I hope it never stops
If this is love then girl you’re all I’ve got
Hook
Verse 3
Light some candles when we’re home alone
I’ll write you letters ‘cus I don’t do phones
I can’t deny I’d Love to jump your bones
Now that you’re mine I want the world to know
Verse 4
Don’t give me that look
I think we started off on the wrong foot
I’m just asking for some sympathy
Don’t care where home is just as long as you’re with me
Run my fingers through your hair at night
I’ll buy you flowers when we get in fights
Girl there ain’t ever been no better time
What do I have to do to call you mine
Hook

LYRICS:
You locked me outside on that cold winter night in June
And there you sat waiting on, waiting to hear the news
For the first time, I noticed how the different shades of blue in the skies
Played the roles of the characters, especially those in my life
Blue shades of sky somewhere out in the heavens
That’s if heaven is real, and life isn’t a lie
Put down your weapons and come outside
Times not an issue, I’ll give you all the time in the world
Blue shades of sky
I found a home in a sunset and,
I found a love in you
I lost some friends along the way
I found a friend in you
In you
You let me inside when the snow was up to my knees
And there I sat thinking those blue eyes would make me freeze
For the last time, I wondered whether home was a hopeless lie
I’ll be loving you till the end of time
Blue shades of sky somewhere out in the heavens
That’s if heaven is real, and life isn’t a lie
Put down your weapons and come outside
Times not an issue, I’ll give you all the time in the world
Blue shades of sky
I found a home in a sunset and,
I found a love in you
I lost some friends along the way
I found a friend in you
In you
In you
In you
In you
In you
In you
