Gert Loubser is besig om vinnig opgang te maak in die Afrikaanse musiekbedryf. Hy vier sy toetrede tot die toneel met die uitreiking van sy debuutalbum, Seestoep op Clifton. Die liedjies op sy album is kraakvars en kom almal uit sy eie pen en gaan meestal oor die mooi plekke en interessante mense in Kaapstad. Gert was in sy vorige lewe ‘n prokureur, maar verkies nou om aan sy musiek te werk in sy woonstel teen die hang van Tafelberg. Hy is ook ‘n briljante klavierspeler en sy lewendige shows word meestal ondersteun deur sy eie klavierbegeleiding en interessante stories.
