THAT FESTIVE FEEL! – No Turkeys here ~

As far as RADIO goes …here’s hoping you will hear at least ONE or more of these gems …as far as RETAIL goes …even if you’re downloading exclusively …go out and BUY at least ONE CD this season …this might save the music industry from turning into a total turkey itself. (Even if it means replenishing a long-lost Beatle album, or Van-the-Man’s ‘Astral Weeks’ – no home should be without one – or, God-forbid …a chart compilation!)

*BLACKKURRANT: their debut album has – finally – escaped – “URBAN SOUL” – featuring songs that have already electrified Cape Town = ‘Simplify’, ‘Today’, and now ‘Scandalous’ and ‘Love the Way’. Hopefully, the rest of S. Africa will fall very, very soon … Get Konnected – BLACKKURRENT.

*EDITH is getting on playlists with her blistering good romp “BACK IT UP” – C’mon RADIO – outta your coma on this one please …

*GRANT PEREZ ft St. Emmo: u’ve heard the old line about ‘ a star is born’ – well, in the case of young GRANT PEREZ – ‘a star is about to explode’, Watch this space, hear this thing! His debut track (ft. St Emmo) is “HOMETOWN” – what a cool place to be!

*ST. EMMO : Once again, that beast known as RADIO is snoozing on this – we’ve taken a step-back to an earlier track, “CANDY-LIKE” – as some wise-guys are adding it – and it’s a hit! About time!

*DAWNAY’s BACK! …the killa-U TOUCH ME-guy is back with a rousing, anthemic, festive reworking of that Bee Gee’s classic. “LOVE U INSIDE OUT!”

>> BURSTING THRU THE BOEREWORS-GORDYN … is the concept album “DRA JOU HART OP JOU TONG” featuring that song by Jakkie Louw – plus ALISTAIR IZOBELL’s version of “JABULANI”. Goed so!

*Look out! …the Fat Girls are Coming …3 TONS OF FUN!. …new PAUL PETERSEN and …40 years after his 1st (and only) #1 …VALIANT V. VANGUARD!

Kind regards,

Patric van Blerk
